About Us

Syntax Terror #20056 is a First team made up of nine homeschoolers who bring intelligence, creativity, and innovation to the table.

The 2024-2025 season marks the team's fourth year in First Tech Challenge, and we eagerly look forward to continuing to grow and learn!

Hey! I'm a Senior, who's the Co-Captain of Syntax Terror. It's my 4th year in robotics, and I'm the Design Team lead. I'm a musician and mathematician.

Kyle Malt

Hello, I'm Syntax Terror's Co-Captain and the Captain of the Programming Team. It's my 4th year with the team, and I'm a Junior currently dual enrolled at Blue Ridge Community College. I play strategy games in my free time and love history.

I'm Syntax Terror's Mechanical Team lead, a Sophmore and it's my 3rd year in robotics. In the future I hope to pursue aerospace engineering.
